Extended Mod Description

EXPLANATION

1) So this game is extremely gear dependent and with the store being what it is it's kinda hard to stay topped up on the highest level gear, especially shotgun rail amps. So now all gear regardless of level give the same bonus. Effectively what this does is MASSIVELY increase your stock of good gear amps. Very helpful for new(ish) players. In short level 1=level 3/4 depending on that respective gear's max level, i.e. rail amps top out at 3 cyclonic at 4 etc.

2) Again another help for new(ish) players since they don't have maxed out ultra rare weapons. Now they do max damage for that weapon regardless of level. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it truly equal across the board. Damage is the same, but weight and reserve ammo remain unchanged. Still this drastically reduces the RNG pain of the store, like the last change.

3) This change is a pretty much a necessity and is considered a patch by most. It removes this weird delay where your shotgun is .1s off from when you shoot. It doesn't sound like much and it most of the time it isn't but on the Crusader it messes up your aim quite often.

4) Now this change is probably the most controversial in my mod/patch but it had to be done. The Reegar Carbine benefits from this bug where your rate of fire is tied to your frame rate. So on console, which I dare say should be the reference, the frame rate is 30. But on PC the frame rate is 60. Essentially what this means is this gun does DOUBLE damage on PC. Stack that on top of Incendiary ammo cheese and you have a hilariously broken weapon. So I felt a 30% damage nerf was justified to bring it down back to Earth. Although honestly you could justify it getting nerfed even more. Remember how I said it does 2x console damage on PC? Well with this 30% nerf it is still doing 1.4x console damage on PC. The only reason I didn't nerf it even further is because of the way armor damage reduction works in this game. Basically you really don't want to reduce a gun to less than 50 damage per bullet/pellet so 30% nerf is as far as I could go.

5) So this is probably the least consequential change out of my mod/patch. Since the Talon Merc is broken and most people don't ever play him because either A) They don't know/want to go through the hassle of fixing his key binds or B) Play on controller so they don't even have the option. But basically for the few of you that play this guy you know it had to be done. This character is the cheesiest no skill spammy spam spammer in the entire game no contest. It is unreal the cheese this guy can pull of if you completely ignore his niche crossbow powers and opt to instead just cheese and spam his mines all game like they are grenades. Disgusting game play absolutely no skill super annoying cheese. So with this mod/patch the arming delay is increased to 2 seconds, which is a 33% increase. And his max active mines is increased to 6, which is a 100% increase. In effect with these two changes his spam potential is DRASTICALLY reduced. So now you are more incentivized to use the trip mines as they were intended, as trip MINES not grenades. Or you might even consider using his other crossbow powers since you know he's the only character with a freakin crosbow lol
