Mod information is generated when mods are published. However, forking a mod clones information from the database, which may be newer than the information on this page.

Edit of Visceral Combat made with the purpose of retaining the increased speed of the mod, but to also alter certain mechanics of the game to make it less obnoxious to play.

Extended Mod Description

Includes all changes from Visceral Combat mod, plus:

Anti-obnoxiousness changes:

- Greatly increased time it takes for Husks and Abominations to sync-grab players (Boss enemies still have no sync-kill capability, just like in Visceral Combat)

- Added actual cooldown to Praetorian melee attack so that it's harder for it to stun-lock players in melee

- Greatly increased cooldown for Geth Prime Combat Drone's Incinerate missile attack so that groups of them can no longer ruin your whole day. Each drone can only fire off one Incinerate in its lifetime, although several can be summoned at the same time by the Prime. Also reduced their max health.

- Reduced Scion cannon rounds fired per burst, max range, and DoT duration

- Reduced Ravager cannon damage and max range

- Greately reduced Seeker Swarm and Possessed Seeker Swarm cooldown penalty and max health and barriers, as well as increased the summoning cooldown for them

- Increased Geth Bomber zap attack cooldown for anti-stunlock purposes

- Slightly reduced max range for a few other enemy weapon types, such as the Geth Prime rifle and the Collector Trooper SMG, and slightly reduced Cerberus Turret DPS

- Slightly increased ammo and grenades dropped by ammo boxes for all difficulties besides Platinum

- Increased health and ammo gained at the end of each wave on all difficulties

Anti-grinding changes:

- Increased credits bonuses for all difficulties. Bronze games now give around 35k, Silver games give 66k, Gold games give around 107k, and Platinum games give around 187k

Other changes:

- Removed Maelstorm map (unfinished untextured mess) and Prothean Artifact Retrieval objective added by original Visceral Combat mod (Why were these even added in the first place?)

- Altered objective selection weights so that Assassination and Hack show up slightly more often, Escort shows up slightly less often (It's fucking boring) and Devices shows up significantly less often (This damn objective can single-handedly ruin a successful Solo run).
New selection chances are:
11.99% for Devices, 24.94% for Assassination, 24.94% for Hack, 20.14% for Retrieval (remember to use the running glitch!), 17.99% Escort, and 0.00% Prothean

- Made Escort drone speed scale better with the amount of players near it, and slightly increased the amount of time it takes for the Hacking objective to finish because it felt too quick in the original VC.

Weapon and power changes:

- Increased Harrier spare ammo somewhat, just so it can now be used more as a primary weapon without having to run to the ammo box every 3 minutes

- Increased Mattock spare ammo to keep it in line with the Harrier. Mattock now has less ammo per clip than the Harrier, like in vanilla ME3, but more spare ammo.

- Decreased reload times for the N7 Piranha and AT-12 Raider shotguns by about 25-30%

- Reduced the recoil of the lv 10 Argus by almost half, to make it more viable to use

- Increased the accuracy of the Revenant

- Increased the magazine size of the lv 10 Collector Rifle to 40 (from 28)

- Reduced rounds before AP for the Blood Pack Punisher to 5 (from 8)

- Increased the magazine size of the lv 10 Hornet to 36 (from 24)

- Increased max range to 5000 (from 4000) and reduced heat up time to 1.5 seconds (from 2 seconds)

- Increased magazine size to 60 (from 57) for the Lancer, just because the random odd number bothered me

- Reduced minimum refire time for the Saber to .5 seconds (from .75)

- Doubled the rate of fire for the Incisor and reduced its recoil, so that it more closely matches its own description of functionality

- Decreased the minimum refire time for the Viper to make it more in line with its ME2 appearance

-Increased the rate of fire for the Krysae to 50 (from 35). Will need to test to see if it performs correctly

- Greatly increased spare ammo for the M11 Suppressor pistol

- Slightly increased rate of fire for the Carnifex and Paladin pistols

- Increased max rounds per mag of the Talon to 6 in order to match the weapon's description.

- Slightly buffed a few unique powers and abilities such as Dark Sphere (DoT radius, movement speed), Warlord Rage (longer rage duration and higher base health regeneration), Ancient Warrior (melee AoE damage and max targets, power cooldown bonus) for the Awakened Collector, Vorcha Bloodlust (higher base health regen, lower chance to growl), and Havoc Strike (force and cooldown time), so as to make those unique classes more viable

- Swapped Glacier with Glacier (Original). Will test further to see if it's actually worth using or if it's better to just leave it at default.

- Increased max enemy count by 1 (now 11)

- Increased health healed and ammo restored at the end of waves to balance for the faster pace of combat

- Added No Shotgun Delay and Sniper Rifle Hip Fire mixins
