TESTPATCH Changes
This page contains a list of my own documented changes of things that were changed in Mass Effect 1.03 and up through the Patch_001.sfar file located in /BIOGame/Patches/PCConsole/Patch_001.sfar. I call this DLC TESTPATCH as the internal DLC name is DLC_TestPatch. This is not a true DLC as it is loaded and stored in memory at game startup and contains files that supercede all instances of classes with the same name as it is stored in memory at all times.
Due to how these classes are forced in memory, local edits to things like some enemies in files may not work as they will be superceded here. Even though this DLC has a low mount priority, it seems to always be forced in memory and will always override other classes.
The only working edits on these files is direct hex editing or export editing in ME3Explorer. I have never been able to have it work with files that have added content like names, imports or exports. The game simply crashes on startup, TESTPATCH pcc files (or the SFAR) may be different in ways we don't understand.
Below is a list of files in this DLC and what changes I know are in them. Over time I will add them - however, given there are more than 200 files, it is unlikely I will ever finish this list. If you want to help, unpack and then do a PCC data dump with all properties, then clip only the exports (no names or imports). Clip a copy of the original game's implementation (clip only the relevant exports) and then compare them through WinMerge and document the changes. Some changes may be in native code which we will likely never figure out.
