Developer toolset for making Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Mass Effect Trilogy mods
Legendary Explorer has a large set of tools to help you accomplish what you need.
Package Editor is the main editor that developers use to edit the toolset.
The main editor tool for the series, Package Editor lets you modify textures, meshes, sound, properties, and more all within a single window, with the file shown in its logical heirarchy.
With multiple subtools to get the job done, Package Editor is the premiere tool to use for modding.
In order to create mods, you need to typically edit existing content, and Asset Database is the best tool for quickly finding what you need.
In addition to Package Editor, Legendary Explorer has multiple tools dedicated to specific workflows.
Modify kismet sequences to create your own flow of the game, from conversations to combat. Trace kismet execution with the Kismet Logger ASI to help debug issues.
Edit pathfinding networks to allow movement from non-player characters. Move, add, or remove level objects to customize the world.
Modify conversations with easy with Dialogue Editor, including interrupts and charm/intimidate requirements, FaceFX, and audio.
Listen to audio from all games. Replace audio quickly and easily in Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 2 LE, and Mass Effect 3 LE without having to use the Wwise authoring interface.
View and replace meshes with Meshplorer. You can also export meshes for editing with external tools such as Blender.
We recommend a minimum of 8GB of RAM to run the toolset.
