@Mgamerz

This didn't fix it unfortunately. I did exactly as you said though. You mentioned something to do with the transplanter in your previous post. Does this still apply?

I was thinking of that, but I just did it for you instead, as the transplanter seems to have issues with multiple transplants for some reason. When I get some time I'll test a fix. I'm working on another (fully separate) version of this mod though, so your fix here may not apply to the new version when its done.

That's ok, i don't mind. Once the POI is fixed i don't have any qualms left so i can enjoy the game with the current mod as it is. I just can't get past those huge markers. Anything else i can try? The recent update stopped the health bar moving unnecessarily, adjusted the codex pop ups and aligned the hint bars that pop up.

It's somewhere in one of the markers (ContentMarkers or Markers). It's a fairly simple fix but requires a couple of steps to put in and out. I should make a GUI editing guide...

where would i find these files? I was hoping there was a file i could bring over from the previous build and just copy and paste it into this build.

The files are in the patch...ContentMarkers.PCC file and the startup.PCC file. You can extract them with the transplanter from an older build in the GUIOPTIONS/transplanter folder (transplanter-cli). I'm still at work (and pretty tired) so I can't do it all off the top of my head.

Your command to extract the GUIs is

Transplanter-CLI --gui-extract --inputfile <PCC>

Open the extracted files with JPEXS (Google it).

To reinject you can look at the 1.07x series SetTextScaling.cmd file, just follow the pattern with the new files. I'll make a video guide when I have some time. GF is still sick.

Cool man, it won't let me open the Transplanter-CLI App however. Opens real fast then closes again?

Scratch everything, i've fixed it. Well, more like you have. I reinstalled everything, Mass Effect 3, all dlc, mod manager and the mod. Installed the game and all dlc. Put the new startup.pcc file you gave me into 1.080. Deleted the contentmarkers.pcc file from 1.080, along with the text lines in the moddesc file. Then loaded Mod Manager for the first time, backed everything up, installed the mod, ran autoTOC and then applied mod and everything is fixed. I must have missed a step before or corrupted some files whilst fiddling around with it. Glad that's out of the way. Sorry for the hassle. I can finally start enjoying the game again. Thanks for all your effort once again. All the best, hope your lady recovers as well. Cheers.
