Updated to 1.070 and controller floating returned. I had it corrected through deadzone edits in my coalesced but I'm assuming that's no longer referenced. How would I go about editing the deadzone settings in 1.070?

The same way. Updates replace files that don't match the server side edits. If you want to prevent updates either decline updates or remove the line 'updatecode' from the moddesc.ini file. The file you modified likely has changed to the TESTPATCH dlc folder. You will need to look in there for the Default... File to modify.

Make a backup of your edited file and movebit out of the mod folder and updates won't touch it.

The basegame coalesced one no longer works as testpatch dlc will override it if you put it there. If you need more info let me know. You can decompile it with the tankmasters tool (actions/open modding tool/tankmasters coalesced gui)

@machine the weaponstatsstats file in testpatch was updated. Everything else you can easily pull from the mod manager folders, some files were removed (coalesced.bin)

Update: 1.072 is now live. I have uploaded this to both Nexus and Mega as a full update. It is now also updatable via Mod Manager.

Fixes:
Planet Scanning Speed is back to 100%. It used to be 5% which is apparently the mouse and keyboard default speed. We are now back to feature parity with the 1.06x series but now we have improved mod compatibility and a few extra fixes.

Additions:
Adds a variant to disable controller vibration

I have a question about the size of the dialogue/subtitle text when SP Controller Mod is installed -- When the mod is uninstalled the text size (default) is much smaller. I've read the many complaints about it being too small but I actually prefer smaller text. I run everything on this PC in 1920x1080 which is supposed to be the default for SP Controller Mod too. The dialogue/subtitle text becomes much larger when the mod is installed yet the GUI settings are the same. Is there a way for me to shrink the text size back to the smaller ME3 default?

Also, editing the deadzone settings in Default_DLC_TestPatch.bin hasn't relieved the R stick camera floating issue, I had them cranked up to 0.8 with little improvement. When the SP Controller Mod was still within coalesced I only had to change by +0.2 and floating was eliminated. If you have any suggestions, I'm always open to ideas.

Anybody else had problems with the automated turrets with the controller mod? Every time I try and use it I can fire, but I can't move the camera and aim or exit from it. Every time I try and load the game to use my mouse and keyboard instead the game says my extended cut DLC isn't installed and won't load.

You have to update your mod to use turrets.

Also for issues make sure you restore basegame and then apply the mod again as coalesced is still installed by the old version of the mod, and the new ones don't update it. Make sure you "check all eligible mods for updates", as " check for updates" is broken in build 51 (52 fixes it). Check all will work.

When you say little improvement, does that mean nothing changed or something did?

Thanks for the reply. How do you update the mod to use turrets? I'm new to this.

I'm afraid I still don't understand this. Even trying restore basegame, restore everything, vanillify game, restore all DLC etc. loading up the game, it still says 'press start' instead of 'press any key to start', suggesting that only the controller is recognised and not the mouse and keyboard.

@Dusty
What does your Restore > Custom Restore show? Does TESTPATCH show as modified? TESTPATCH is where the value of the start screen button is shown. If you previously had an issue where it said cannot back up TESTPATCH: DLC is modified (me3 1.6) you'll have to do a manual repair from within origin. Right click the game and select "Repair". Also go to Custom DLC Manager (under Restore) and delete the DLC if it's there.

The next version of Mod Manager will work with ME3 1.6... did not know it existed until just recently.
