Re: I must be doing something wrong

You mean 192.168.0.1, right? I can tell you that this is not how things show up here... this doesn't look like a PSE issue anymore and unfortunately I'm not sure how to fix this. :| EDIT: for comparison, this is how things show up here in Windows 10 and 8.1 with virtual adapters from VBox/VMWare: ht...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

IPv6 settings don't affect the game, it works under IPv4. Just to make sure that Setup.exe is detecting all (correct) IP's, run this from a cmd window: netsh interface ipv4 show addresses This will list all network interfaces and their respective IP's currently assigned to your PC. Does the netsh li...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

127.0.0.1 means "this computer". Setting PSE to listen on 127.0.0.1, on your PC, will only handle connections from your PC.

Re: I must be doing something wrong

No, nothing else. If PSE isn't crashing and the game still refuses to connect to it, you may also test it with something else... try to visit "me3.goscontent.ea.com/abcdef.txt" from your browser - if redirection is active, PSE will receive this and show a message about "file not found...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

The issue with IP's sounds like antivirus/firewall restriction to me. If you have hosts edited and PSE is running, there's nothing else to do, the game should connect to PSE even if it's using the loopback address. If the game never connects to PSE, then it must be because of something else blocking...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

7. Started Mass Effect only for Origin to still start with it. If you have the cracked EXE, this shouldn't happen. The original EXE is encrypted and requires things in the Core folder, and that folder triggers Origin before proceeding with decryption. Cracked EXE is not encrypted. How do I check if...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

Thank you for the reply. One of my problems was that I did not have the cracked EXE. I copied the cracked EXE to Win32 folder, the game started but as soon as the intro video played the game minimized and Origin was running. I then copied the two dll's(binkw23 and bink32) but it says that "vcr...

Re: I must be doing something wrong

#3 is covered in the FAQ. A listener needs a valid local IP from your PC. If the IP in conf.txt is correct (I assume you already used Setup for Hoster from Setup.exe), then there must be something else blocking PSE. The thing about game still wanting to connect to Origin... you need to get PSE worki...

Re: Help - PSE and Tunngle (Server Unavaiable)

See the other topics. Have you checked firewall and antiviruses? Both the game and PSE need to be unblocked on those. From what you said about IP's I can tell you got that part right.
